Mariana Viera Lugo is an experienced immigration attorney. Originally from Puerto Rico, Mariana attended the University of Georgia for her bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science and received her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. She has worked at several small immigration firms, representing clients before the immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Maryland Circuit Courts, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mariana has spent her career working with immigrants and advocating for their rights.
Mariana lives in Gaithersburg, Maryland with her partner. She enjoys going to bookstores, reading, and spending time with her partner and pets.
